Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Bytes Simplified Ltd website, applications and services. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: 1 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are a legal agreement between you and Bytes Simplified Ltd, a company registered in England, headquartered at 3.2, Universal Square, Devonshire Street, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6JH. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website, applications or services.
2. Use of our services
You agree to use our website, applications and services lawfully and not to:
- Use them in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with their operation.
- Copy, modify, distribute or resell any part of our services without our written permission.
- Use our services to transmit harmful, unlawful or infringing content.
3. Applications and app stores
Applications we publish may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store. Your download and use of those applications is also subject to the terms of the relevant platform. Purchases, subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the platform under its own terms.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Where an application or service offers paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases, the applicable price and terms are presented at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew and can be cancelled in line with the rules of the platform through which you purchased them. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to that platform’s policies and your statutory rights.
5. Intellectual property
All content, software, designs, logos and trademarks on our website and within our applications are owned by or licensed to Bytes Simplified Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our services for their intended purpose only.
6. Client and consultancy services
Where we provide bespoke development or IT consultancy, the specific scope, deliverables, fees and timelines are set out in a separate agreement or statement of work, which takes precedence over these terms for that engagement.
7. Availability
We aim to keep our website and services available and working well, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of our services for maintenance or operational reasons.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bytes Simplified Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of our website, applications or services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Privacy
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
